Welcome to The Website of RHP Cricket Club

RHP Cricket Club are based in Winthorpe, near Newark in Nottinghamshire. We play in the South Notts League and this is our first season playing in this League.

Since the inception of the club in 1939 we have played under a few different names as we had to follow the factory policy of what they were called the sports teams had to be, we have been NSK Cricket Club and Ransome & Marles Cricket Club until now having the freedom to be called RHP Cricket Club.

We play at Winthorpe, which is a rural village location with an excellent wicket and pitch and a great local pub the Lord Nelson about a 2 minute walk away.

RHP have over the years always been a successful side winning numerous major trophies and producing players who have represented Nottinghamshire at Age Group Level, with one currently in the U10 squad. We have traditionally produced senior players for our sides from our  hugely productive junior section.

Our highest standard of cricket played was in the Bassetlaw League in which we played in the Championship which was the feeder to the Nottinghamshire Premier League.

We have two Level 3 coaches who have both been involved in either playing or coaching England sides at International level and two Level 2 coaches who have experience of playing or coaching with Nottinghamshire.

The enjoyment of cricket and the social side is what the club is built around, we like every other side want to win every match we play, but the most important thing for us is providing an opportunity for anybody that wants to play cricket.

We have junior sides at Kwik-Cricket and U11 this is in its earliest infancy but grows year on year, we this year will be working with Coddington & Winthorpe who have a junior section based on site with us.

Our connection is that we can provide an exit route for the juniors from C&W to access adult cricket and our partnership/working relationship goes from strength to strength.

All our coaches are qualified and DRS checked, along with safeguarding and first aid qualifications.

If you are looking for a local club to play at which has excellent facilities and offers everybody whatever there level the chance to play please contact us on rhpcc@outlook.com

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
